The Cayo District is Belize’s adventure capital, known for lush jungles, rivers, waterfalls, caves, and ancient Maya archaeological sites. Located in western Belize near the Guatemala border, it is one of the most popular areas for eco-tourism and inland adventures. Visitors travel here for cave tubing, ziplining, wildlife viewing, and historic ruins such as Xunantunich and Caracol.
